SUS434 EN 1.4113 DIN X6CrMo17-1 Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Strip Coil 0.5*17mm
UNS S43400
The molybdenum-bearing version of the general-purpose grade (Type 430), Type 433 has the same useful combinations of properties. Adding molybdenum (a nominal 1%), helps improve the corrosion resistance properties of the grade, especially against corrosive road salts in automotive trim applications. As with all Type 430 variations, this alloy is highly magnetic and can be welded with some grain coarsening, embrittlement at ambient temperature and a reduced resistance to corrosion.
Type 434 is generally used for automotive and appliance trims. It has shown more of a tendency to rope during forming than Type 430.

EN 1.4113 DIN X6CrMo17-1 AISI 434 ferritic stainless steel sheet and plate
434 is one of the most widely used of the ferritic stainless steels.
The addition of molybdenum improves the alloy’s general corrosion resistance and makes the alloy resistant to attack by deicing chemicals. It combines good heat and oxidation resistance up to 1500ºF (816ºC) as well as good mechanical properties.
